This is my first year and I really like it. I am in the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and I am very glad that I chose this school, because there were other options. I successfully graduated from junior college with Associate's Degree in Arts, and here I'm taking Spanish major. This year is such a transition year for our team. Everybody has high hopes for the future. We have two assistant coaches who played basketball professionally. That's great to have knowledgeable coaches, who themselves can teach and demonstrate the drills, which they request from us. Definitely, there are many more opportunities to make progress individually. We have also separate physical fitness trainer. Every day is filled up. There is not much free time. In the morning we have training in the gym, then we go to classes, later basketball training of 3 hours and then usually one more hour in the evening. The season has started, and we often go several days in a row playing away. Overall, I am very satisfied with my coaches and the team. I would just like to have more playing time. I've noticed, being America, that very, very important is the attitude. Even if you are not allowed to play, coaches expect 100% support for your team sitting on the bench. If you'll be sitting and showing angry or disinterested face, it may happen that you'll be sitting well for the rest of the season.

Get a good education and play basketball in the U.S. - it is that dream come true. It's not easy and the work load is very high. However, I am absolutely happy and satisfied with where I am and what I'm doing. This is an invaluable experience and years spent in the U.S. for me will always be very special. Thank you!!!
